Beginner Pottery Course- Kids

This four weeks course is suited for students who are new to the field of ceramics and have little to no prior experience. The course is equally divided between pottery wheel and hand building classes. Basic wheel techniques are introduced to create basic shapes like mugs and bowls. Basic hand building techniques are taught to create functional and non functional objects like mugs, bowls, leaf trays, sculpted creatures etc in clay. Ideation and sketching will be constantly emphasized. Students will become familiar with the terminology used in pottery as well as the general etiquette of working in a communal ceramic studio.

Duration- 4 weeks, 8 sessions

Saturday - Sunday | Time- 11 AM - 1 PM

Cost- INR 6400/-

Please Note:

The course is designed for kids 10-15 years old.
Students will be given 4 kg clay to create pieces they keep for themselves.
Firing charges of Rs100 per 100 grams will apply to use above 4 kg of clay.
Finished work will be glazed and available to pick up 4 weeks after the end of course.
Bring your own apron or wear comfortable clothes you can get dirty in.
Course fee is non refundable but can be transferred to a different session in the future.
