Pottery Wheel Course- Five Days

This course is an introduction to the potters wheel. Students will learn the basic techniques to form shapes like mugs, bowls, and small vases on the potters wheel. This is a skill that must be learned through practice, so patience, perseverance, and the ability to make mistakes and move on are all necessary to get the most out of the course.

The course includes the following-

  • Clay preparation, wedging,  ceramic terminology

  • Introduction to Pottery Wheel- Centering, Opening and Pulling Cylinders

  • Shaping bowls and organic vase shapes

  • Attaching handles and surface textures in clay 

  • One kilogram of fired and glazed material

Time: 10 AM - 1 PM​   |   Venue - St. Kabir Public School, Sec- 26, Chandigarh

Cost- INR 8000/- per person

Please Note:

​

  • The course is for ages 16 years and older.

  • Firing charges of Rs100 per 100 grams will apply to use above 1 kilogram of clay.

  • Finished work will be glazed and available to pick up 4 weeks after the end of your course.

  • Wear comfortable clothes you can get dirty in.

  • Course fee is non refundable and non transferrable.
